Manicure

I received a few gift certificates to the local spa for my birthday. Ever since then I have been contemplating what to get done, like a little kid in a candy store - adding and subtracting their change to figure out the best value, and the most enticing items.

I just received a coupon in the mail for a free manicure with pedicure purchase. That's like a $30 value - is it weird to be so excited? Oh and if you're counting - that's another $30 not spent.

  1. I love pedicures! I haven't had a manicure before, but if I got a coupon for a free manicure with a pedicure and I had gift certificates...i'd be all over that deal! LOL

  2. I also LOVE pedicures... although in all of my thriftiness, I passed on one last summer as we had a new edition to our family.... I thought the money I would spend for a pedi would best be put toward a box of diapers... hmmm, there I go again putting myself last.
    This summer... look out,
! I am treating myself FOR SURE!!!!
Go for it Crystal... us Mommies deserve to be pampered at least once a year. Go for the works. I once had a spa day given to me as a gift and it was AH-MAY-ZING!!! Facial, Vichy Shower, Pedicure... Ahhhhh.... the Spahhhh! Loved it.... sooooo miss it :(

  3. Julie - in the brantford coupon clipper - that's where the coupon for the mani w/ pedi is! I'm gonna have to book one soon :-) I haven't had one for like 2 years! I do think we need to find a balance on spending on ourselves - it's not good to never put yourself first either... One thing I LOVE (and you should check yours / your hubby's insurance) is free massages - at Ahh the Spahh... we use the RMT and put it back through insurance - totally legit, and absolutely awesome!!!
